Rapper 50 Cent says that he does not care if Donald Trump hates black people. He endorsed the Republican due to his favorable tax policies for the ultra-wealthy.

The 45-year-old rap sensation shared a snap of the tax rates proposed by Kamala Harris and Joe Biden.

According to the Bide tax proposal, individuals earning more than $400,000 annually in California will have to pay 62.6% in tax. New York City residents will have to pay 62% in tax.

The rapper said that this was ridiculous and urged his followers to vote for Trump. The high tax rates won’t affect the people making less than $400,000 a year, which consists of 98.2% of Americans.

The highest statutory tax rate in the USA currently stands at 37%. The average person in the highest bracket pays around 26.8% tax. This is after factoring out preferential rates, credits, exemptions, deductions, and loopholes.

However, this is not the first time 50 Cent has shown his support for Donald Trump. Before the election in 2016, he posted a photograph of himself and Trump on Instagram. The rapper’s stance has led to mixed reactions from fans. Several people called him selfish for prioritizing his private wealth over the wellbeing of the public. On the other hand, conservatives like Tomi Lahren and Candace Owens congratulated him.
