Following the Samsung Galaxy Fold faced display issues, Samsung’s first foldable smartphone became the most controversial smartphone of the year 2019. The major concern about the smartphone is that it has not been launched yet. There are reports that Samsung is planning to launch the device somewhere in July.
As soon as the company made the smartphone available to the early users, including reviewers, the problem of cracking display, breaking or developing bumps created havoc amongst the reviewers. Later Samsung realized that the problem was because of the faulty hardware design, which resulted in a big 6mm gap at the bottom of the hinge. The space also acted up as an entry point for the dust and other unwanted substances.
As we all know that Galaxy Fold is a $2,000 smartphone, and it is quite unacceptable that such a costly phone could face design flaws along with others. Following the concern, Samsung is working on the issue, but there are still no details regarding the launch date of the product from Samsung.
Nearly about a month and a half after the smartphone faced issues, we have reports from a Samsung executive that they will launch the device in July. The company is working on the current issues, and it will make sure that such issues won’t come up again as it may affect the sales of the smartphone in the global market, said the Samsung executive.
One of our news sources has also reported that Samsung has redesigned the earlier model of the Galaxy Fold, and the tech giant is testing the redesigned model with three mobile carriers in the US. Samsung will release the new model next month, according to the sources.
